How World Bicycle Day Became an International Holiday | Giant Bicycles

A day to celebrate the bicycle! On June 3, 2018, the United Nations recognized the first World Bicycle Day. This resolution recognizes “the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries and is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport.”
